The HaloFX can be mounted either in-wall or on a trolley.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
For the HaloFX, it is important to have a side room or trailer set up for effective salt treatment. This allows you to condition the air with an air conditioner and lower the humidity in the room and therefore the air being brought into the unit. Under 70% humidity is essential for salt therapy, below 55% is ideal. With an air conditioning unit in the small side room, you can cost-effectively create low humidity air for highly effective salting.
This also keeps the salt away from the machine and the A/C unit which reduces and can reduce corrosion which happens when salt is near metal parts.

IS SALT INCLUDED WITH THE HALOGENERATOR?
Salt is not included with your new halogenerator. You will need to purchase readily available, inexpensive pharmaceutical grade salt in your local area. This is not hard to source and we can help with supplier contacts. A ten-pound bag lasts for approximately 150+ sessions of 25 minutes each. This is only about ten cents of salt cost per session.
WHAT ARE THE BEST OPERATING CONDITIONS?
Halotherapy works best in humidity under 70%. Humidity under 55% is ideal. We also recommend you prepare your salt for the day or week, or even per session by warming the salt in a low heat “crockpot.”
HOW DO I CLEAN MY MACHINE?
Cleaning the machine is easy! Simply slide a few parts out, brush and dust any salt off the machine.
DO YOU OFFER TRAINING?
There is no official certification for salt therapy. However, we are available for video, phone, and text training and support as needed. We want you to be successful and help our equine friends.
UL CERTIFICATION (Underwriters Laboratories): The Equine Salt machines are the ONLY UL CERTIFIED in the business.
HOW EXACTLY DOES SALT THERAPY WORK?
Salt is a natural mineral that is known for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Salt is very absorbent so as a horse breathes in the micro-fine aerosol mist of dry salt, the dry salt immediately begins to penetrate deep into the lungs. Here it begins absorbing and thinning mucus, killing allergens and bad bacteria, reducing inflammation and opening constricted airways. The process improves both breathing and oxygen utilisation, thus improving cardio vascular health.

Refund Policy
Returns
NO RETURNS WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Custom built orders (built to order) require a more rigorous process and are not guaranteed a refund. Custom orders may require in-person inspection, buyer agrees to pay for shipping until a determination is made.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Custom orders, perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer without prior authorization.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Book with obvious signs of use - CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened - Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error - Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit (less a 30% restocking fee and shipment related fees (i.e., shipping, interceptions, etc..) will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable) If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at charles@horsetackonline.com.
Sale items (if applicable) Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable) We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@horsetackonline.com. Gifts If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Return Shipping To return your product, you should send and email to info@horsetackonline.com and we will give you the correct return address.
You will be responsible for paying shipping costs for returning your item.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the original cost of shipping the item/items to you will be deducted from your refund. This includes any shipping costs that may be included in the price of the item.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
